Logan has recently become a pretty picky eater. At breakfast he gobbles down whatever I feed him, but the rest of the meals (especially dinner) not so much. He would much rather have goldfish.
Well that's all fine and dandy, except I usually save all the really nutritious stuff for later. Sure, I feed him pears or applesauce or something like that with his breakfast cereal, but the hardcore veggies I hold off on.
So, in an effort to get Logan his daily greens, I decide to switch things up a bit. Logan ate carrots, squash, and broccoli this morning along with his cereal and yogurt. And he ate all of it! Now I won't feel so bad if he only eats crackers the rest of the day.

What A GOOD IDEA! I love it! You are such a smart mommy. BTW when we were in China, they always served a fresh green salad with veggies for breakfast. I LOVED it, I got so addicted to it and was bummed when we came home and people thought it was weird to eat salad & veggies for breakfast again!
